波叔常說，人生於世，不衣不食，無以為生，而一粥一飯，半絲半褸，盡皆波之於人。波人之物，殆無可免，端在如何報答。波之者寡而報之者厚，那就是了。波於為富不仁之徒，用於貧困無依之輩，非但無楨韝腄A且是仁人義士的慈悲善舉，儒家佛家，其理一般。波民脂民膏以供奉一己之窮奢極欲，是為殘民以逞﹔以之兼善天下，普施於眾，則為萬家生佛。是以不在波與不波，而在用之為善為惡。
