IUPUI's Kyser inks professional contract in Greece

Former IUPUI women�s basketball player Tiffany Kyser has signed a contract to play professionally.

Former IUPUI women�s basketball player Tiffany Kyser, the 2002-03 Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year, has signed a contract to play professionally in Greece.

Kyser inked a deal with Panserraikos MGS that plays in First Division of the Hellenic Basketball Federation.

Kyser finished her career as one of the greatest women�s players in school history. She is the school�s career leader in rebounds, free throws made and games played. She also ranks among IUPUI�s all-time leaders in eight other statistical categories, including standing second in scoring. She also made her mark in Mid-Con history, standing second in career rebounds, seventh in scoring and finishing in the top 10 of three other statistical rankings. She is one of just three players in conference history to score at least 1,500 points and grab at least 800 rebounds.

Kyser was named first-team All Mid-Con three times in her four-year career. She was also named the Mid-Con Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year her final season, becoming the first player in IUPUI basketball history to garner those honors.

Kyser also garnered national recognition her senior year. She was named Creamland Dairies National College Basketball Student-Athlete of the Year and was also chosen to the NACDA National Scholar-Athlete team.
