M i D d A y

The sun was directly over head, and he had long since dried. The shine on his painted pelt was returning as he ate the spring grass. He shook his mane and turned at snapped at it, getting most of the burrs out.

He stamped his foot, causing an indentation on Mother Earth's face, he half-rears playfully. And looks around, figures moving through the field, many fine strong steeds. He contemplates his fate again, and can't say much, he has lived a grand life up to now, now he had food to eat, and no predators have yet to reach his scent. He looks up at the sky, dreamily, at the clouds, wondering...thinking... would he get the honor of being in the main herd? He looks around the guard steed made himself clear of his dominance, but what else was wanted?

Goes into a gallop shaking his head, red-brown eyes glance at the figures standing round. Spring breeze plays with his mane and tail hairs.

Rearing he looks around, lobes flick back at the realization that there were only stallions here. Wuffs, was there anyone to associate with? Looks around at all the steeds awaiting judgment...
