He rarely spoke but he watched. Observing each stallion while he waited. He had been here long, almost longer than every other stallion, but others have been here before him, and they slowly were fading away, either being accepted or rejecting DarkStar and his herd because they hadnt been chosen.
Many here have been around no more than a day or so, and their hopes were high. He snorted, some would enter, and others would have their hopes dashed and probably leave as well. Some were too weak, others to aggressive and assuming they were better than the rest. Others, he believed would indeed make it, but it was not his place to say. It was DarkStar's herd, and DarkStar's choice alone.
And here he continues to wait, wathing each stallion, observing.
