Worship can include worship of science. Idolatry is worship of ANYTHING created by man, and science in the form you are mentioning is created by man, is it not? Your atheism is fundamentally no different than Nanny's Judaism in the sense that you are both worshipping something other than God, and the Bible says explicitly: You shall not have other gods than me. Your worship/admiration of science excludes God and you are putting science over God, as He tells He is you in His holy book. Therefore atheists are as much idolators as are Islamists, Judaists and all the rest who have chosen a self-created god for themselves.

I find Nanny's repetitious statement of "Jesus is not God" womanly and stupid. Sometimes I feel ashamed of my own sex. Why are many women so incapable of intellectual thinking? As a man can you please tell your Nanny to shut up and keep to the kitchen. Perhaps she will listen to you. Frankly I'm getting sick of her interfering in all my conversations.
