Subject: Gut feeling

Just a gut feeling, but to Melanie, a messy program on the West Coast is not necessarily a step up from XU because of intagibles like comfort level, geographic familiarity (Balcomb is from the East, and will most likely, when she leaves, head that way), new arena that may (again, I don't know exactly how she feels) a better conference (but one weaker than it should be) and more money.
