Date Posted: 09:56:45 01/11/06 Wed 2006 marks Cindy Lamb's 13th year at Firebird International raceway in Chandler Az as a volunteer youth racing coordinator. During the last 13 years Big wheels became a competitive class with their own points series, Junior dragster racing has evolved but still the points series run solely by Cindy at Firebird is second to none. Cindy brings in her own supporters and sponsors because of her personality and ability and most of all for just being her. Recently I have joined Cindy so I can assist her when needed. I never realized the challenges she faces at every race and times between events. I seldom see her during a race except around trophy time. She is really dedicated.
