(*)Her cheek burned where his touch had contacted her cold, crimson raiment. The sensation had been considerably forgotten, and now flourished with a furious ratification. How could such a small gesture harvest such potency?! For a moment's fickle breath it was intoxicating. Vexingly intoxicating. A cruel, yet sweet poison. But why a poison? Had it been that long? The sovereignty of its absence that exstensive? Had this nefarious 'ness become unconsciously immune? How long had it been since....since she had been touched? Fatale's ocules rose to the dragon's once more, wrapped in a fashion of dark perplexity. Dialogue occured daily, but sincere contact? Damn you, Shadower. You awaken truths in me I'd more willingly be igorant of. Though...your sincerity, your charm coat your frigid tonic with such sweet, dulcet appeal that my nerves would never dare fray, or mind be set with acrimony against you. Damn you, Khemir'Taren...you're indeed in a league of your own.(*)Answer his question. The demand echoed through her mindings. The vix had strayed again. Apologies. Nevertheless, with a crooked grin and comely cocked chin, an answer came in her melodius, charmingly melancholy tone.(*)

I do know it, 'Taren. My attempt to keep it from you would be futile, so I do not. But it must be deeper than the purest fires of Hell, because I couldn't tell you. I've already questioned myself, and have yet to find an answer.

(*)Words ceased, her plethora of pinions draped uneasily against stately spine, sharing in their mistress' nameless pain. Her striking gaze kept to his, radiant in their dark, alluring purity and truthful unknowing. A simple shrug. I don't know. Hollowness. I don't know.(*)

I don't know, my dear 'Taren. Simply don't. Perhaps it shall becomed perceptible with time....time I do not wish to linger in, but time nontheless. 'Til then, talk to me. I grow weary of hearing myself complain.

(*)A brief show of a lost self resurfaced, beauty and vixen-like disposition, classic. Saucy grin reclaimed bruja's pouted lips, elegantly furious, optical fires enthralling. Its probability of lasting was slim, but this fiendish brute had ways of provoking even the most remote and unlikely(*)

What of you, Shadow dragon? How is your caretaker? What took you away from me and sent you back as you are now? I sense changes...though some things always remain. Still, you are not completely who you were....you are much more. Would you mind sharing?

(*)She-beast settled back, neck artistically set, respectfully attentive, sincere, auds open, awaiting an answer(*)

((sorry. went a bit longer than planned. ;) Night.))

[shaking my viper dial, crystalline azul optics never wavered from those mystifying embers][muscular frame nestled down upon the cold slates below, taking in her words][i began hearing her thoughts within my mind, yet casually lifted a shield around my own as to not trespass on m'lady's favor][granted, I had accidently heard enough to be worried even more][yet, the expression upon my face was merely one of comfort as if nothing was more important than just listening][which of course, was my role and reason]

Raistlin has grown much younger from his journey to another dimension...and is even more arrogant and aggressive. He has found out that my twin and I are not actually even truly related. Our hatreds for each other are so very great, yet I needed to regain power from at least one of my heritages and trained with him as much as I could

[I glanced down at my black plates, once unique hues of pale blue, silver, and white - No more][instead, scars remain upon raven charred scales][turning my pale sapphire gaze back to those burning yet fading embers, a charming smile played at the corners of my glossy lips]

My appearance has dramatically changed throughout my training... I suppose you could say that Raistlin showed his powers and hatreds together against me in the shadows. Granted, I learned a great deal and don't regret any of it - Except that I had to leave here and my loyalties

[my body had been broken][my vision, blinded and my hearing, deafened][my heart, shattered][my mind, still dwelling as splinters][and yet, I still believe my life is so very fair][watching the mistress of the flames, there was no pity or sympathy in my almost clear optics][not at all][only comfort][and the most powerful of virtues, if it was even one][that one being: hope]

(*)Slim smirk(*)

Raistlin, even more aggressive and arrogant, you say? Young or old, I couldn't see him going in any other direction. He's another that, at times, amazes me.

(*)Figure was motionless as his continuing tellings were concieved within her, as well as marveled at. The brute had been through it all, mentally and physically, and it showed, but he wore it with a passion and unselfishness that commanded veneration.(*)

You've been through so much, such trials, and yet you regret departing from this place. You did what you had to, 'Taren, and I know that was something I never regretted.

(*)Opal orbs appeared mystical in their fluctuating hues, though a hem of sadness still banked their golden rims. Firess watched him. They delved into his gazers, recieving plainly the absence of commiseration and presence of a true friendship. That's all she asked. Another might have just went on and on about how sorry they were for her. But this brawn...never. He listened and shared thoughts. That's all she could ask for as form rose from a chilled belly and onto numb haunches. Whip's head, sporting its metal bone, tipped into the hard terra, as breath began to flow freely. Dial remained bowed and for some time, speech retardent, as a silence overcame the fiendish dame. But everything ends, especially when maws crack ever so slenderly, and a hissing chuckle can be heard seeping into the chilly air.(*)

I try to understand you, 'Taren, and at times I believe I do.....it's the other times that baffle me. Sometimes I wonder why you're not off somewhere leading some territory or kingdom into greatness, or...I don't know...dancing handsomely in the charming escapades of a love affair. I see such greatess in you, dragon, an invincible aura. Why are you here listening to me? Whatever your motives, I am grateful for your patience, loyalty, everything, 'Taren. Truly grateful.

[listening, I did not move a muscle][still and silent, my dial finally broke the trend by simply shaking side to side][yet another charming smile played upon my raven lips to accompany my somewhat odd bahavior][taking her talon within mine, and grazed its warm scales with my cold lips, placing a simple kiss upon it][keeping her talon with mine, I just kept my pale aquamarines upon her own opaline spheres]

My motives? Are there any, truthfully? I suppose my personality is just different compared to many, many dragons. Including my own heritage. But... No, no. I remain here because I feel I can make a difference

[nodding dial, he still caressed her talon][raising brow, he glanced around the tierra, slightly worried][granted, my handsome shadower face slowly turned back to the majestic firess]

Where is my rival, dear Hell Singer? I've only spied upon his frail form once since my arrival home. Where is my friend, HaC?

(*)The Lady gave him a wry but playful look when the Shadower mentioned a "frail form".(*)

I see your charm still is extended to everyone, m'dear....

(*)Her dial swayed in mild scolding, putting a spine to her intonation(*)

...yet, it's funny you mentioned that, 'Taren. Just before we began talking, I was wondering the same thing.

(*)Her ocules, close to ruby, like an aged, sweet wine, though still enchantingly diaphanous, shrugged for the shoulders that failed to. A glance flew over her plated shoulder and lingered there, doubtfully in the relentless murk(*)

He flew off, not too long ago, after speaking with that dragon Darkness. I believe that's his name. He some sort of prince, or used to be for that matter. I'm still not clear on all of that.

(*)Crania returned to face the raven mascul, potential of an oncoming recollection in her disposition(*)

There was a confrontation between HaC and his daughter, Fyre Singer. Something about going to Darkin to find her roots. HaC obviously, almost to the point of fright, didn't want her there, so something has been stirred, and not to HaC's fancy. I'm not totally certain. As I was about to speak with'im, he took off, and that was the last I heard.

(*)A sigh tickled her throat, as a strange thrumming began to revolve around the slick cylinder casing.(*)

Maybe he's off to Darkin...I haven't a clue but that....farewells seem to be in a tear of paucity these moons. Then again, he was some upset.......I don't know.

[merely shaking my handsome dial, I finally released my gentle grasp from the fire demon's talon][placing it back to its original position, my pale azure optics met those of garnet hue][stretching my now stiff body, I realized I had said HaC had a frail body][smirking at my own humor, I refused to glance down at myself][my necrodivine heritage gave me more than enough muscle, and the shadow blood toned my body][more than most dragons, whether they be mortal or immortal][hiding my true feelings, I seemed to nod in agreement]

Ah, I understand. We all responsibilities in life, I suppose. But, I do have to say that a mate's job is to be there for the other. And it sure doesn't seem like HaC understands that part of the commitment.....

[no, Hell Singer][you are absolutely correct about me at times][I give respect to those who give me respect][and those who I take into great consideration, as well][and HaC is definitely not one of my favorite dragons][the backstabber and fool][keeping my thoughts within my own mind, I offered a smile and shrugged my rather narrow shoulders]

Well... Is there anything you wish to speak about, Hell Singer? I am more than willing and ready to listen

(*)On the brute's first comments, the Firess kept her tongue within a temtping smirk, though she did have her own thoughts on the subject. Thoughts as well as questions. But only silenced bathed her fit build, as dial fixed, upon him, her feline gaze. At least until tongue loosened and released words of rationality(*)

You're correct about a mate's duty, that I don't deny. But I shall speak not on HaC's ways....I am not his master.

(*)There were some other thoughts she wished to add, but respect would not permit her to do so. She only gave back a smooth, cool grin for the smile offered so kindly to her. Even a warm paw, the one he had held, floated up to caress his jaw along with fierish eyes, that bestowed upon him a Thank you, but no. And though she was sure that he could elevate this message from her thinkings without aid, the dame would say it as well(*)

No, 'Taren, there is nothing else, though I thank you for your offer. It's been a relief to be able to speak with someone so freely again.
