She stiffend in his arms. He was rejecting her just like all of the others. Unexpected tears filled her bottomless blue eyes. She abruptly let go of him and turned away before he could see the tears spilling down her cheeks.

That was a mistake. Forget it ever happend.

She hated how her voice sounded thick with tears even though it was already husky. She hated everything right now. Especially the unfairness of life. She thought that maybe for once Fate was being kind to her. Yet, just like all of the other times before, it had just dangled something enticing in front of her and snatched it back away laughing...

She allowed him to pull her back only because she hadn't wanted him to let go in the first place. She listend to him though, even if she didn't want to. She looked up at him when he finished.

What do you mean you lied to me?

She was confused. He returned her kiss, then pushed her away and said they shouldn't be kissing. Then he pulled her back and said he cared about her, maybe even loved her. But they couldn't kiss because he lied? What on earth could he have lied about?
