Subject: 4th season of charlie's angels

The fourth season of Charlie’s Angels would have been more interesting if Shelley Hack was given more exposure during the first episodes of the season. She was left in the background early in the season that there seemed to be only two working angels and she was seemingly forgotten. Also, solo episodes should have been aired mid season sandwiched between team episodes instead of early in the season and subsequently.
My suggestion is to watch the episodes (if you have them) in the following order and I’m certain you will see a more developed Tiffany Welles character.
The numbers preceding the titles are the original episode numbers followed by the proposed episode numbers.

1979-1980 Season
Starring Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack
with David Doyle as John Bosley
and John Forsythe as the voice of Charles Townsend

70. 70. Love Boat Angels
Shelley Hack's First Episode
This is the 1st episode and should be shown 1st(Even if the story revolves around Cheryl Ladd.)

79. 71. Angels on Campus This episode puts Shelley Hack in the spotlight and she does well. I think this would serve as a proper introduction for the new angel as the story centers on Shelley Hack’s character Tiffany Welles, the new angel (something that didn’t happen in the 1st episode). The Development of her character begins with this episode. It is established that she was a college sorority honcho. She is also being introduced here as a character more serious than Sabrina Duncan but not too serious as to not have a sense of humor.

80. 72. Angel Hunt
This is a good 1st team episode with all of them getting equal exposure. Lighter moments (such as the first scene wherein Kris and Kelly teach Tif how to surf) shows us how far Tif has gone in integrating with the incumbent angels. The development of the Tiffany Welles character is continued with dialogue referring to her academic background.

73. 73. Angels at the
Altar
This is Jaclyn Smith’s episode. Shelley is left in the background but then she was featured prominently in the last two episodes so it’s okay. “Angels at the Altar” features Tif as a violinist.

91. 74. Three for the Money
Some say that this is one of the best of the Angel’s con episodes - up to the tag team ending. This episode showcases Tiffany’s classy persona as a senator’s aid. Airing this episode early would further establish the Tiffany as the Charlie’s most stylish angel.

89. 75. An Angels Trail
Farrah Fawcett Guest Stars
I think this should have been aired earlier in the season, when viewers were still watching. Tiffany finds a map that becomes an important the key to solving the case.

78. 76. Angels on Skates In this team episode, Kris and Kelly teach Tif how to skate.

75. 77. Caged Angel This is Cheryl’s episode. This is Cheryl Ladd’s take on “Angels in Chains” but with a more dramatic atmosphere.

71. 78. Angels Go Trucking This team episode was originally aired as the second episode of the season. The plot has a very interesting twist that viewers are kept guessing till the end of the episode.

87. 79. Dancin' Angels
In this team episode, the angels find themselves pursuing a case set in the ballroom dancing circuit. This further enhances Tiffany’s clotheshorse character as she (and the other two angels) is garbed in evening fineries throughout most of the episode.

72. 80. Avenging Angel This is Jaclyn Smith’s episode

81. 81. Cruising Angels Bosley figures prominently in this team episode. But it is the light moments shared by the angels (such as the scene wherein Kelly “parked” the Wayward Angel) that makes this episode particularly interesting.

74. 82. Fallen Angel
Farrah Fawcett Guest Stars
Farrah guest stars in this interesting episode. Jill seemingly becomes the villain here. The Munroe sisters seem to be at odds with each other.

86. 83. Homes, $weet Homes Team episode

83. 84. Angels
Child This is Jaclyn Smith’s episode. A serious episode dealing with child abuse should be a good follow up to the lighter episode previously aired.

90. 85. Nips & Tucks In this team episode, the angels pursue a villain who is changing the way he looks via plastic surgery (a commonplace occurrence nowadays but a very drastic idea at the time).

88. 86. Harrigan's Angels
This is interesting as it deals with alcoholism.

93. 87. One Love . . . Two Angels Part I
93. 87. One Love . . . Two Angels Part II
This story pits two angels, Kris and Kelly, against each other over one man. Originally aired as the season ender, I think that this episode should have been aired mid season. Tiffany plays a very small part in the first half of the episode and seems like a signal that she is about to be axed. Not making it the last episode tells us that she will still be back next week.

82. 88. Of Ghosts and Angels This is Shelley Hack’s episode. Since the last episode centered on both Kelly and Kris, showing this episode next would put Tiffany in the spotlight this time. Tiffany’s psychic ability is revealed in this episode.

76. 89. Angels on the Street Airing this episode later in the season would make it funnier. At this point, viewers are used to Tiffany’s classy persona and seeing her in stylish outfits. Her awkwardness in going undercover as a hooker would this time come off as hilarious.

77. 90. The Prince and the Angel
Farrah Fawcett Guest Stars
Team episode

84. 91. One of Our Angels is Missing
85. 92. Catch a Falling Angel
Team episode

92. 93. Toni's Boys
Shelley Hack's Last Episode
This is a team episode. I think this would make a nice season ender. Toni’s boys are like a spoof of the angels with the genders reversed. The boys get their man using their masculine allure on women just as the angels would use theirs on men.
