I'm afraid you are mistaken in this assumption. While there are some Luciferian and Satanist that are theistic, for the most part I would say basically Satan and Lucifer are seen as aspects of Man. Satan representing Man's animalistic, carnal nature. Lucifer representing Man's Aetheral, intellectual, Higher nature and the Path of Self - deification and Wisdom.

The literal meaning of the two are:

Satan - Adversary, Opposition, Opposite

Lucifer - Light-bearer, enlightenment, intellect, wisdom. Lucifer was/is also a common term refering to the planet Venus.
