Subject: Adam-12 Fans

I think it sucks that the best Adam-12 Web site on the Net was forced to shut down because Kent McCord didn't like not cashing in on the site. Why wouldn't McCord be happy people still cared about a TV show he did 35 years ago? The site was popular with law enforcement personnel too. I am currently in the LAPD hiring process and grew up as a fan of the show. I think the show is the best example of the day to day life of police officers ever depicted. The show had lazy dialogue in between calls, excitement and a great blend of the thrilling and the mundane. Kudos to all involved, but sad McCord felt it necessary to use his lawyers to shut down a loving tribute to a great old series.
