My advise is that if one wants to do something meaningful to combat climate change, adopting a lifestyle of minimal consumption such as Sea-Steading suggests is much more valuable than event activism. It's a lot less flashy to simply live quietly by one's values than to try to make a big splash, but ultimately all the real progress out there that is being made is by those doing just that.
