Ari - You hit it right on. The Sea Pearl is patterned after Herreshoff's Carpenter, which he designed in 1929 as a tender for a large motor yacht. He liked the tender so much he commented it was hard to tell who was tending who.

Can the Fatty Knees be sailed?
