I had a Replica of an 1885 Noank Sloop ,24'Gaff Rig
with a club foot Jib, on a ten foot Bowsprit.Cedar on Oak.These were the forerunners of The Cat Boats.Used for
Lobster fishing.Any Way Had a friend of Mine always
Wanted to Make me an Oar similer to what u Made.But never
got to it.Had for 30 Yrs.sold it in 2006.Picked up CD25.
Spoke to Shaw & Tenney about Cost etc.They said the
build STRAIGHT Oar that could be used off the Stern or off
the side??? Im waiting for My Cateract and will start with
Them first. let u know when I get them.
