Yup, I've seen it already.
Actually, I emailed the guy who made the sight to see if he'd let me take a look at his 29' plans but never heard back.
I think I am going to pass on the Aleutka on ebay. The seller took it down and then relisted it with a low buy it now. Trouble is, I would have to rent (or borrow) a truck to haul it up to VT which would probably cost me another $1000, make spars for it which would cost me time and money, fix the cabin side where there is some rot (and get rid of the ridiculous looking doghouse) and on and on. This is a first boat for me. I think that I could probably spend a couple grand on a smaller boat with a big sail inventory and move up when I need to. Even with only a few Aleutka 29' actually ever built, I am sure one will turn up again (encourage me here b/c it was hard to come by this decision). Maybe I will keep my eye out for a nice 26' version and leave the family at home when I take her out...
