We live aboard and I used it to line most of our lockers and to put under the v-berth. It conforms well to small spaces, is easy to cut and is not so thick that it takes up a lot of the locker space. It seems to be working very well, but I must say I also used cardboard in some lockers which seems to work just as well. I figured since the homeless use cardboard all the time to keep warm it was worth a try. If it gets wet you just replace, and there is always plenty of cardboard around.
