Of course, it's not commercially viable if you lose your boat, and it's ethically pretty dodgey. :-)

However, legal issues aside, my point is that there is a spectrum of dollars/pound for cargo. On one side is blow, which makes economic sense today. On the other side is stuff like raw materials or commodity food staples that will only be commercially viable in a complete breakdown of the container system or in extremely remote locations.

Wine's "economic value density" is probably approaching viability, and I bet we'll continue to a shift along that spectrum in years to come.
