Subject: My new sculling oar

I finished my sculling oar:

I took it on an over-nighter before I had a chance to varnish her up, but I wanted to test it out. The sucker moves the boat all right! The varnish is now drying at the dock and the piece of ohia that Jay gave me for the blade looks damn sexy again the fir loom. I'll post more pics later.
