Thanks, Mike. I appreciate your taking the time to jot down those notes. There is often a tradeoff: fast and nimble or slower and more comfortable. The fast and nimble is a much better compromise for day sailing but the slower, more comfortable boats are much to be preferred for long distance in variable weather. The boat I sailed down the coast and back up to BC was no phoenix in the fast, nimble and weatherly category but she was a pleasure hour after hour in all sorts of weather. I used to know the man who owned the original Juno but never did get to go sailing on the boat.
