I just read "Sailing Back in Time" about Allen and Sherie Farrell.

This is the life I am aiming for (junk rig and all - though I will never be the natural Allen was at building boats. 40+ foot hand-built wooden boats with a variety of rigs each finished in a couple of years by him alone!). The changes currently building around the world are pushing me ever more firmly in this direction.
