Subject: Never been on a sailboat wants to circumnavigate... the harbor

Hey, I like the site. I am very interested in sailing and ultimately want to sail around the world. Never sailed before but i did recently bet someone $5 I would be sailing around the world within one years time. so... time to start learning.

I live near Sacramento, CA. I have no problem getting anywhere in the bay. And open to going further.

Does anyone need help with their boat? Sailing, maintenance, whatever. I am pretty handy with a wrench. I figure any contact with boats is good regardless if it isn't even in the water.

I am very eager to learn! and tell bad jokes
