It was a little of both that you mentioned. During that period, Eric and I, unlike Wally and Jim, were single and hung out together quite a bit. Our interests were similar and we actually were buddies for awhile. I'd go hang at his apartment right down the street from mine, or we'd hop in my 'vette and cruise to Headlands beach to check out the babes! And those songs were written then...da da!
