Date Posted: 14:29:00 12/24/03 Wed Wow, that was my first impression of Dave's new cd! Dave was definately a top notch talent for the Raspberries. The first concert I saw was the Raspberries when I was only 10 years old and have been fan since. Now getting back to the new cd. There isn't a bad track on it. From the start of "Sooner or Later" you know Dave still has it. There should be country stations all over playing "Born in the Country". Dave's dedication to his dad "Warrior at Rest" is definately equal to any Eagles song released. "Something I Could Say" might be the best track, but it's hard to pick a favorite. And "Someone Like You" which I first heard on Refreshed is a perfect love song (also the best track on Refreshed). I also enjoyed the new version of "It's Cold Outside" which was originally done when Dave was in the band The Choir. If you read this and are thinking about buying the cd, do yourself a favorite and buy it! I play it over and over. In fact I have two friends already that are going to buy it after hearing a few tunes. Dave please keep recording! The fans waited way too long, but it was definately worth it!
