Dave my question concerns the 'berries' version of "The Locomotion." I have heard stories over the years that Todd Rundgren heard the 'berries live version of the song and presented the idea of recording it to Grand Funk. Of course GF took the song to #1 on the charts with Rundgren producing it. Too much of a coincidence for me. So I want to know was GF's version similar to the way the 'berries did the song?
