Dave - I went to the opening show, got my wife to the NYE show in Cleveland, and I am going to NYC! I plunked down the loot for the VIP deal, so I'll see you for sure. (Three concerts down, ? to go).

Hey, thanks for the "anyone from Mentor?" question on NYE. My wife was born in Cleveland, but didn't live up there long enough to remember anything. She left at the tender age of 8 months (the 'way' youngest). The rest of her family remembers living in Mentor, OH very fondly and she has a cousin and an aunt who works at a paint store on Euclid.

She's heard stories about learning to polka, the scottish folks who had some wickedly good dessert recipes...can do without the "black pudding," however. (That make any sense?) Anyway, what you said gave her a nice connection as she is the only one of her family who doesn't remember living there (little things mean a lot).
