Dave: As a musician, it is true, that the music we write remains influenced by our lives (how else could it be?). As we mature (dare I say age), it seems reasonable that the music we write would mellow with the years. I remember playing sets of music by The Kinks, Beatles, Stones and Who at high school dances and thinking that was the very peak experience. It was a great way to meet girls (as I am sure you know). Yet now, after continuing musical discoveries, I am entranced by the music of Patsy Cline, Stephane Grapelli, and even The Chieftains. I continue to ncorporate all of this into my music, and am now thinking of doing a demo at a local recording studio. I am saying that once music is in your blood, you only stifle it (Courtesy of A. Bunker) at your peril. Will
