Dave,

In 1973 I went to see a Badfinger concert at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. I was a big Beatles fan and I felt that this was as close to a Beatles show that I could get. The opening act for this show was the Raspberries. You guys blew that other band away. I became an instant and lifelong fan of the band since that night. I believe it was 1975 that I was able to see the reincarnation of the band, with Scott McCarl and Michael McBride at a show in Minot, North Dakota, minus Wally, who was apparently ill at the time. I had to wait 30 years to see the band again at the House of Blues show in Chicago. But what a night. So, when I saw that you would be nearby in Waukesha I gathered the wife and said we gotta go. She loves the Raspberries almost as much as I do. You guys didn't disappoint. Although the set was a bit shorter than the Chicago HOB show it still kicked ass. However, the highlight of the day was after the show when you all stuck around to chat with us, sign autographs and take pictures. It was a thrill to get to meet and talk to you and is a moment that I will never forget. Thanks for taking the time to acknowledge your fans after the show and GET BACK IN THE STUDIO and give us some more FRESH RASPBERRIES music.

Best Wishes,

Mike Wald
