sidoti is EXTREMELY fortunate. some folk would probably look toward him as a 'hack' and a mariginal player. the tequila sunrise gig is OK and NO he is NOT joe walsh...i don't care what anyone says. the hob support from dave & the guys is a GIFT beyond any local musicians wildest dreams. and it was a very cool gesture of support, no doubt.
when i think of the best Rhythm/vocal players sure I think Bryson, billy sullivan is tremendous, pete hewlitt (now in Pittsburgh teamed w/ a dude named Anderson) still has his chops. i also think dan hrdlicka, mike angelo, marty lee hoeynes, alan green and even eric robertson (wherever you are)...this list can go on, but i would not include sidoti, nothing personal, just my opinion, out-r.
