Date Posted: 19:45:42 07/08/05 Fri In reply to: Phil 's message, "HOB backing of Paul Sidoti" on 07:54:24 06/21/05 Tue CONTROVERSY on the the davesmalley website...well just a tad. Rad-Boy, (whoever you are) don't beat-up on Sidoti. He's a decent player, good vocals and he can hang with most on the Key's so I agree with Dave...btw the original post was really only to acknowledge how the Berries 'BAcked-Up' Sidoti at a concert so I'm lost as to why you'd Post a message regarding his playing ability. No doubt, Sidoti was at the right place at the right time. Pete Hewlitt would have been an oBvious 'other-choice' but Hewlitt is nolonger "Local", he's in Pittsburgh...donno about the other musicians you mentioned. HEY DAVE, btw, Billy Sullivan is such an incredible player, infact he's 'Scarey-good' as my wife remarked. We saw Billy playing-out at "Score Boards" bar & grill in LaGrange Ohio a few months ago. He did an Acoustic set that was AMAZINLGY good. It's a shame that most of the crowd on hand did NOT even take notice. My wife & I could have listened to Billy all nite. He even took requests, and 'pulled' everyone of them off...YES Billy is THAT good. I'll be checkin you guys out at SCENE Pavillon on the 15th. Section 1 Row B, right infront of Wally. I cannot wait 'MAN'. Good luck, mikie. >Dave, > >Congrats on you and the other member of the band >backing your back up mate Paul Sidoti on his solo >concert! Sounds like a fun time. > >I can't wait until Sunday. I saw your last concert in >Chicago and will try to get your attention as you said >to meet you on Sunday. Have fun in rehearsals. > >Phil [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
