Date Posted: 17:13:33 07/09/05 Sat Dave, Happy Birthday!! Congratulations on turning 56. I will be 56 in November as well. We have to think about it like fine wine.....we just get better with age! I just retired in May after 34 years of teaching. But, like you with the Raspberries, I came out of retirement by accepting a part time teaching job this fall. I assume the band is hard at work preparing for the hometown gig on the river next Friday! I would think that all of you are really looking forward to your first Cleveland outdoor concert since 1973 or earlier! My wife and I will be there. This will be her first Berries concert and my 3rd..(all this year). I assume we will see a longer set than Waukesha with some of the slower songs being played? I was really honored to meet you and talk to you in Waukesha. I wanted to tell you that I think the Berries are an incredibly tight band. All of you have a lot of fun playing and do just a fantastic job of playing music we love to hear!! Keep up the good work and can't wait till Friday.
