I was SECTION 1, ROW-B, seat 10 & 12, infront of Ken Sharp & behind Bernie Hogya, not that I know those 'cats' personally, I've just seen'em before. The Show was Great. Dave is just a TREMENDOUS player. His Harmony's were DEAD-on. Billy Sullivan & Jennifer Lee are too good. Billy's guitar fills w/ his RiC where outta-site. Jennifer has a good appearance on stage. Great High's on her vocals. The other dude in the green-shirt did an admirable job too, although my wife thought his 'Dew-rag' was totally inappropriate for Raspberries music.
I'd say the Nautica venue was just about 3/4 sold-out, which is very cool. As Eric eluded, Cleveland was really never a huge market for 'Berries-music' back in the day, but the Turn-out was good to see. I truly wish there was MORE radio support from local radio folks, Lannigan esp, ie. just like in Pittsburgh where the support is HUGE for Donnie Iris, where he sells-out anywhere he plays in that City, esp the Chevrolet Ampi-theater...btw I think Raspberries should consider that Venue in the future. Wasn't Pittsburgh a good market for 'Berries'??
As far as SONGS selection from from the Berries show, was very good. Ticket to RYDE intro bit-to-I Wanna Be with You SET the tempo, no doubt. That was EXREMELY cool.
Hey Dave, how bout' doing the Beatles "I Need You" (from the Secret days), where Wally worked the Volume knob (not a volume pedal) to 'nail-it' or even "If I needed Someone". I realize these are HArrison tunes but they're VERY cool songs to be done 'Live'. If I think you sang LEAD on those songs too while in 'the Secret'...just a thought on COVER songs that not too many people can play these days, outside of you guys...again, great show!!! You are a good musician. mikie

...how bout the Knack too !!!!! they were good also..
