You guys surpassed my greatest hopes. I never got to see you guys perform in the '70s (I was a toddler then), so I only knew your sound from your records. I don't know how you guys sounded on stage back then. But I know how you sounded on Saturday night. You guys RIPPED IT UP. I know you guys were working to keep it true to the original recordings -- maybe to show us "you still got it" -- but if anything you guys sounded BIGGER, more MUSCULAR, even more in command. I'm sure I'd sound goofy if I tried to explain how important Raspberries records have been for me. ("I know it sounds funny, but...")
