Child of the oceans, 'pon hearing DoT's voice trail off, sends her smoky friend an consoling look. Having thought about what DoT had been distraught over, she thought she knew what was bothering the other filla. She made no pretense of empathy, but she wanted DoT to know that she knew what had happened, that she would be there for her, and that she did sympathize. The sterling filly tossed her exquisitely dished, tapering head, snowy strip glinting, frothy foam on a brilliant steel sea, midnight streams whirling and tumbling, dark waves crashing on smooth pewter sands. Her sleek hide gleams bright liquid quiksilver, danced upon by dark drops of molten steel, as she paws the ground gently with a slim coal-hued leg, raven banner flowing out behind her as the salty-sweet wind caressed her silken tresses and tail. Daughter of the Seas begins to prance lightly on slender sooty pistons, long tail flagging even in this small action. She turns her dark-eyed gaze containing the stormy fire of the waves out to the curling surf. The sea. It filled her with a rapture understandable by none, save her, the wind, and the sea. For she is the only, the one Daughter of the Sea, and it was the only thing she had. Glancing back at the stallion, she politely waits for a reply to her queries.
