Author: The Martyr's Sacrifice
Subject: **The glacial breath of the exiled angel is drawn for voice, even while knowing a mute siren's words are only within the heart and eyes.**

**Midnight's dancer chuckles, her brisk pace slowing as she steps from the boundaries to once again gaze the lands she knew so well. What was it, three generations? No mind, no mind, it is steady now, with variations for to pique her interest.**

**A demonic angel, a bittersweet vampiress, her fate, her name, she is both, she is neither, she is undecided. A low chuckle falls from her lips and she raises her empty gaze to read her lands and it's new inhabitants.**
Black Thunder- Hi, Black Thunder, I do not know you as well yet, but if first impressions suggest anything, you know the delicate balance of leadership and rejection well. For that, I respect you, thank you.
Abbadon- Saltations, my friend, it has been a long time. How are you?
Mime- You are impressing me, Mime, I have not found a fault in you yet. Patience, wisdom, skill without arrogance; perhaps an alliance, when we both know each other better.
Lucifer- Surely you haven't forgotten me, now have you? Be forewarned; I still am not fond of you, but you are slowly, slowly redeeming your image. Be careful.
Siren- Hmm. You interest me, no more, no less, and it is because I do not know you well enough to give you a more stable opinion. So far you have done nothing to make me dislike you, and those I do despise will tell you that is a good thing.
Syntricate- Through no obvious fault of your own, you rub me the wrong way, I do not know why. You request alliance of me, and yet you don't know me? What would happen if I held the knife and stabbed you in the back at first opportunity? What if I am not all that you percieve me of? Patience, Syntricate, perhaps we can have an alliance in time, when you know me and I you.
Zephyr - I need to see more of you, but salutations, so far I have no qualm with you.

**Dipping a high crest she stands calmly in midnight's spotlight with a curious stare and amused laugh held captive within her eyes.**

torrent of winds. hushed silence. listen closely.

gaze falls 'pon she trusted highly by Lead brute, the Martyr. Mayhaps the most worthy creature clouded orbs had set upon thus far. Still, no need for sucking up now was there? Mug lowers in respects to she, nares fluttering as mute silence is kept, cherishing the silence. Frame moves westwards, coal und onyx tresses snapping lazily at taught haunches. Compliments had been well taken and much would be done to keep self in good standing with she, the Martyr.

.trapped in an invisible box, yet maybe simply invisible to you.

.±. Faulty she? Faulty 'deed? T'would a trusted mare o' Black Thunder do such a thing as stab a fellow, 'ceptable? 'Deed, she t'would deny all reasons that fatale 'ad spoken 'ward Black Thunder, this Martyr 'twould 'cause Black Thunder pain, and sorrow if betrayed his trust by forging murder 'pon fellow evil? Why? 'Twas Martyr's to 'cept, not hers .±.

.±. 'Deed if fem wished to wait, be it, for no 'lliance t'would be formed. She 'ad been offered it once, for fatale felt she a worthy beast, what more c'ould be felt by such an iced heart as freckled fire? Fatale t'would know the difference, if by true, she trusted her knowledge...a great pledge to see .±.

.±. You dare to plunge a knife in the back of a fellow, plunge a knife in the trusting heart that has grown to you of your steed, you dare to defy the odd of a fellowship strong than another? How quite unwise...how unwise. I have asked you 'cause you I felt worthy, you gained rank quick, my dear, very quick, the only reason 'cause o' your worth? Did it ever occur to you, per'aps, I wished the alliance to be formed, to bound a strong hold 'pon the harem? Did it ever occur to you, I was doing something 'ccording the flame? .±.

.±. Lappetts flicker cautiously, warned 'twas she by Imperial Guard, granted 'twas her silence. Ashen labrums flutter o'er 'namels, ooids protruding to watch she beast t'with unflickering silence, withering 'way to the night .±.

.±. Knives plunge unto virgin foilage, banshee screech 'mitted, rolling o'er the vaporation o' dew, rolling o'er the mountains, echoing 'pon the ash. Flame with hold thee, think 'bout my words, bound thee in eternal syn .±.

[> [> **uh oh, spaghetti o's** -- Martyr, 19:44:32 02/10/02 Sun

**A rebuke is shown clearly in the dangerous shimmer of her narrowed eyes, and with a rasped chuckle she shakes her head mockingly. Curling her lips to her muzzle, her teeth are still closed as she brings them down sharply against the Syntical's (haha! got it right ^_^) muzzle with a defiant crack. The chestnut's blatant audacity is not checked, and her overbearing scream is intimidating.**

.see, darling?.
.this is why you do not request and alliance from those you do not know.
.you think that i would not kill you because Black Thunder has granted you acceptance enough to walk in his lands?.
.oh, this is very funny.
.you do not know me.
.i am a very fickle mare.
.a trusting heart?!.
.i have only just met you!.
.you are a simple fool, Syntical.
.you think that because you are a 'fellow evil', that grants you permission to live without danger?.
.i swear, mare, give me reason.
.you stand at a weakness now, bow to it or be pushed aside by it.
.here stands before you the chance to be molded or broken....

**The sheen of the chestnut's eyes does not dim or hide her brutal frankness. Her threat is that, and not to be taken as airy words, her icey stare of scornful distain can not suggest anything else. Should the mare be humbled and accept her dominance, her authority, her voice of reason, all will be forgotten, and another chance will be offered. If not, beware, be afraid, you cannot hide, and you cannot run forever.**

. Chuckle rumbles o'er ashen labrums, lappetts flickering d'faintely 'pone tched scalp o' she beast .

. Ah and I see you wish to rebuke upon your steed? A daring quality. You see why I have chosen you, yet rebuke that I am right. A stupid, yet may I seclude, a 'dumb' quality indeed, trying to 'presume' your wrath by words. Honestly mare, get yourself together, I aint a small child, nor will I take back my words .

[> [> [> [> **i was laughing before.. but you just stepped across the line** -- Martyr, 15:27:23 02/11/02 Mon

**The haughty scarlet raises her crest in blatant dominance, and with an dull roar of her irritation and annoyance. Pure inexcitation crosses the other of glowing ferocity and by simple reasons obvious she is secured in victory.**

.your words suggest that you lord us all.
.but self-proclaimed greatness holds no importance and is quickly disreguarded.
.if one so neive believes they can conquer a mellinium, than I bid it, but for you, there is no option.

**Her nostrils flare and her amounting galvanism continues as the dely in the mare's line of arrogance stoops suddenly. Tired even in so short of time, she shakes her head and with a low hiss she breaks the even line of her dentines to bare her teeth in hiddeous snarl.**

**Without breaking her stare, she moves closer with deliberation and without second harp she leaps with a raised crest, her teeth searching randomly for the mare's poll in distraction. In the same moment's breath she lifts a foreleg high and brings it crashing down her delicate kneecap, her fetlock, and then her fragile coronet; an open line of vital injuries. With a low snort and a half-hearted nip at her flanks, she sashays close to the mare's flanks. She dips a shattered crest and lifts her hindquarters in a massive buck, her hind legs flung up at her stifle without a genuine care of whether it hit or not; Her second series of attacks were true; Deadly concentration and pointed accuracy were fully given to that attack and with her own speed, agility, and unpredictability added to the distraction of her head, there was no escape. Wheeling with her same aire of careless perfection she turns to face the mare squarely, an unnerving fire charring her eyes and flashing dangerously. Vilipendency shatters the opposer's vision of supremecy and the practical chestnut stands stout with a simple quip, mocking what misprize stands before her.

.simple mare claiming the forces of destitute, without vertebrae, nor stronger light.
.i offered you your chance of redemption.
.you raised your nose arrogantly and replied with a stubborn no.
.that is your downfall.
.you truely think black thunder will care when you fall for your stupidity?.
.you have much to learn about these lands.
.pity you won't have that opportunity.

. Lappetts dance vigorously 'pon scalp .

. NO, that is no my downfall. My downfall was asking you to join in a rampaging fellowship, that was my downfall. My downfall was not backing down, that was my strong point, that my true strong point that you could not handle, that was where I came in, that was where I defied you, no matter rank. Did it ever occur to you, respect 'twasn't granted to ranks, but to thsoe who deserve it? To me, you deserve nothing, for you do not recognize the true soul inside, you look at the outside covering, you look at a wall, and I see through it. Perhaps you shall rethink this, for I am open for anything, yet submission, never will I think o' it .

. Capsule is suspended o'er clashing carbon, duo flickering quiet'y o'er fire speckled visage, tresses o' mixed iv'ry and fire lapsating 'mong hind region o' she beast, mug pressed near teathered boa, constricted to let labrums roll hiss o'er ashen, banshee scream repeating in quiet, repetitive, melody .

. Quiet, yet you fear me, silence you ask of me, defiance you have granted me, my spirit you have concealed, the wall around me you see, the soul is never free, the ooids you hold are worthless, ne'er to see through, and the night will haunt, haunt your soul out of you .

((LOL, this is getting good...*MUAHAHHA* Go Quin, Quiney making Marty mad..*cackles* hehehehehe......OOO and thanks for spelling me precious name right! O BTW, do you have AIM? Mine is: SerpTwerp give me a buzz))

**as the martyr passes judgment, the soloist unfurls the full length of her arch'd neck to elevate patrician crania to a height revealing momentary tension. upon receiving her own small ration of judgment and finding it relatively benign, the slight apprehension passes, though wariness is maintained, as is suspected would be the wiser course of action when in the presence of the martyr. ranks are not an infallible method of measuring the strength of one's character, but often they prove quite accurate, and the chestnut seems to instinctively command respect, higher rank or not**

.opinions.

**while gratified that as of yet the chestnut finds no wrong in the spirit and actions of the ashen vocalist, the latter is little satisfied with the judgment passed on her head. while she would not dare to press the superior guard for a better opinion, actions speak with more eloquence than words - that is, providing the actions are executed with wisdom. i am not anxious to throw myself prostrate at your feet, for i am quite sure you would not scorn to tread all over me, but let us see if i can prove my worth to you over time**

.there is no cause for haste.

**while the thought of neutrality rests uneasy on her mind, for she would prefer it firmly and unmistakably on the side for the better, to hasten the delib'rate and painstakingly intricate process of judgment and - dare i hope? - partnership in the future, however distant or unlikely, would be sheer folly. a melodious whistle is her parting 'comment,' and a simple but expressive dip of her regal visage accompanies it. not given to excessively demonstrative displays, her respect is sparingly given, but it appears that in the case of the martyr, it is quickly earned and in unusually generous amounts for the silver-tongued wraith**

.exit.

**exit the lonely soloist, continue the symphony. but who may tell when an encore is demanded? a glance is swept over the figures remaining, both those who have found a favored place in the mind of the chestnut and those whom had been found dubious or unacceptable. she herself lingers between both regions, for interest can easily be swayed in either direction. caution would be advisable in proceeding, i believe. till next we meet, worthy martyr**
