I can take all the insults you throw my way. If you want to call me an idiot go right ahead. I could care less. What matters is that you have no idea the time involved in being a legislator, whether in Harrisburg or in Washington, D.C. You probably have a 8 to 5 job, decent pay, decent health insurance, etc. So, why be jealous of the legislators who have a few more benefits than you, or make a higher salary. Clearly they make more than you, or you wouldn't be so pissed off. People rarely get pissed off when someone makes less than they do. If you thin it is so easy being a legislator, put your name on the ballot next time. I for one think they are worth every dollar. AndI am not a legislator, work in one of their offices, etc. I just think that individuals who do this for a living should be well compensated. They aren't, and I repeat aren't becoming millionaires serving in the legislature. I know truck drivers who make more than our state legislators. And no complains about how they make their money.
