MY AUDITION

**The snake slithers around the poor Constantina, hissing gleefully to itself. Wrapping its coils around the young maid, he laughs in a haunting, reptilian manner.** (Singing)

Ah, my dear young maid,
Do what you are bade,
Don't fret, my dear,
Don�t shed a tear,
My scales are warm with hope,
So, young one, don�t mope,
The pain will be short,
But no one can thwart,
The Snake of Sacrifiiiiiiiice!

**He leans in close to a petrified Constantina, forked tongue flicking in and out of his mouth.**
