Cyadon: Broken Alliance


Seven-hundred and fifty Turns ago, Pern was in trouble.  Plagued by Thread, over-population, and depletion of her resources, the leaders of Weyr, Craft, and Hold banded together to find a solution.  The result:  Cyadon, the fourth planet in the system.  Less Thread, more room for people, and more fruitful than all of Pern.  Gradually, these things combined to make dragonkind better.  New colors came about, furthering the species until the Pernese grew jealous of their cousin’s prowess.  Greedy Weyrleaders closed contact with Cyadon, leaving them to fend for themselves.  The Cyadians have regretted this loss, and seek a way to reestablish contact with their mother planet.  Will you be the one to repair the broken alliance?
