...These lands now almost bare, or so it seemed, were once flourished with life. Until it came. It was what they called it, the horse race. You could run and run and try to hide but it would find you. It soon turned to they. They were flesh birds, or what would seem a bird. They were made of only flesh their skin gone, eyes piercing red, they swooped down with bat like fleshy wings and screamed a terrifying call over the land choosing an equine for its own and attacking. They had beaks but inside these beaks lay pointed sharp teeth that pierced the skin of anything. They would swoop down on their prey and bite. But they wont kill.... within these birds teeth lay a virus, that when they bit their prey would get the virus..... They were crazed equines. In the period in which they are infected their teeth grow pointed and they grow crazed so they crave flesh and blood..... Killing everything in their path. Hiding does no use... The only way to destroy these beasts are to lead them into water. They will burn at the touch of water. Even if they were your loved ones. Only a couple of equines lived from this deadly virus that killed their whole race, but they repopulated it..... after a long time it seemed the birds were gone... Until they came back.... They do this once a month now.... So beware that being born into this land of crazed horses you are sentencing your life to pain....
