Dear Sirs, I have waited 4 years to successfully draw a hunting permit for the Ossabaw Island deer hunt on December 4, 5, 6, 2003. I need to be at the Georgia DNR boat ramp up Newlin Creek at Ossabaw no later than 7 am on Wednesday December 3rd. I have tried to work with the owners of Killkenny marina - but they will not transport me with advance reservations. So , I am looking for a member of the Fort Mc Callister Sport Fishing Club who has a 20 - 22 ft boat that is capable of taking me , my wife, and 2 other family members over to Ossabaw with camping gear from either Killkenny Marina or from Ft Mc Callister marina. If we leave from Ft Mc Callister Marina I would like to leave no later than 6:15 am on Wed Dec 3rd. Killkenny is charging $45/pp round trip. I am willing to pay $50/pp or $200 for the round trip transport. I need to return from Ossabaw on Sunday morning Dec 7th at 10 am back to the mainland. Does the club have any help, suggestions, or advice for me. I am desperate to find reliable boat transport over to Ossabaw. As a resident of Wyoming I can offer advice and information on where to hunt in Wyoming for Antelope, Deer and Elk to whomever would transport me.
Please e mail me or call: 307-789-6973. I look forward to hearing from any member of the Ft Mc Callister Sport Fishing Club. Thank you. Stu Mauney, 16 Loop Road, Evanston, Wyoming, 82930
