Subject: Help is needed to keep FWC Officers!!

Sixty six FWC law officer positions are on the chopping block in the new budget.

There is a bill in the Senate, but none in the House, that would help prevent the loss of these needed officers in the field.

1. Contact your State Senator and ask for the support of the bill SB1286. This is an increase in boat registration fees....ie 16 to 26 feet from 18.50 to 28.75. (first increase since 1992).

2. Contact your State House Represenative and request a companion bill be introduced in the House. Refer to the Senate bill number.

We all know the line of officers in the field is already too thin....and to lose 66 more will add to the problem...Please be the VOICE and email your legislative representatives today.
