Subject: License increase

If you’re a Florida resident, an annual hunting license will cost you $12.50 if you buy it before Oct. 1. After that, it’ll be $17.

Might I suggest purchasing a five-year hunting license for $56.50 so you can lock yourself in before the price goes up to $79 on Oct. 1? That’s what I plan on doing.

Hunting license fees are not going up for out-of-staters, and nonresidents have the choice of paying $46.50 for a 10-day license or $151.50 for 12 months.
