Jim, as far a transferable or non-transferable no. You know the only fix is to go non-transferable. They did take a vote to see how many was for transferable permits. Four out of five was for transferable permits. It's funny, the hunters attending expressed their dislike of hunters gaming the system, but they don't want to give up transferable permits because it may enable them to get more hunts. This was after they were told that a few hunters are controlling most of the hunts on a few WMAS. Another reason is that they are afraid of change and no guarantees by the FWC on how they will deal with more no-shows.

Also combining the hunts into one general draw has made the process very difficult to understand. I ask why this was done and was told that if someone only hunted one type of hunt it would give them a chance to draw two hunts of the same type...very unlikely on the better WMAs. My comment was, so because someone whats only to archery, general gun or muzzleload hunt I lose the opportunity to have a chance to draw a permit for each type of hunt. I suggested the process needs to be smiplified by making each type of hunt a separate process.
