Guys unfortunately the FWC is not convinced that our deer are over populated and that will be the only way you will see more doe harvest on WMA's. I believe I heard stated, "Does are what produce buck fawns you know!" and Does in Florida don't produce twins as often as they do in the North, therefore harvesting does would be to the detriment of the herd when trying to build numbers. They aren't worried about the Buck to Doe ratio. They believe that Bucks have been over harvested in Florida and want to cut the amount of deer a hunter can harvest per year.
