I personally don't think so, the system gets tweeked every few years and some of it works for us and some of it doesn't, we need to keep making adjustments rather then dropping it and starting a whole new road! It's hard enough to understand alot of the new rules today, imagine reinventing a quota system...

NonTransferible will reduce hunting by as much as 25%, which is only a guess, but it's a fact that every hunter will not make atleast one hunt this year due to personal obligations else where, Now if this is the case and if we had Non-transferable permits in place this year, not only would you miss the hunt but someone you could pass the hunt on to, would too, Multiply this a hundred times and it doesn't look good!

Add up the Pros and Cons of both Transferible and NON- tranferible permits: then look at which one Hunters will loose the most from? Then Organizations have to ask their members, are they willing to loose hunting days Just to (there's no Promises that it will happen) STOP the Hording of premium WMA quotas, remember No one know how many get taken by the Anti-Hunters or even lost, I don't believe there's one WMA that sees a 100% turn out on all Quota hunts...

No matter how each of us feel, we need to be sure of one thing; Will it be better for all hunters or will we be shooting Ourselves in the foot?

There are alot of Ideas being thrown out but it all comes back to Transfer or NOT, this needs to be worked out first before we can play any other card!
