 The dealer takes the check, smiles and turns back to her truck. She unties Star, and hands the dog's lead to Amber before climbing behind the wheel and rumbling out of the area.

Star glances back at her old mistress before turning her attention to Amber. With her tail wagging, she reaches her muzzel forward, tongue lolling as she strains to give the women a lick.
