Ah, treats soon enough, beauty! It would be a treat in itself to get these two out of this miserable pasture and back on the Manor grounds where they belonged! Stroking the filly's long face, he smiled softly down on her. It had been a long time, hadn't it?

Turning his eyes to the stallion, he ran a hand down the silver face as well, picking a few snarls out of the tousled forelock. A good grooming was in order, after a decent meal! "We'll have you looking like champions again soon, I promise, loves..." But first to get them home! Reluctantly stepping away, he left the pasture to grab a couple halters from his truck and returned to slip through the gate. "Come along, beauties, shall we go home?"
