Accepting the handshake the women smiles and says,

"Oh that's Cross the Line. She's a really sweet mare and doesnt have as much anxiousness as most off the track thoroughbreds do. She's been off the track for about 2 monthes. I got her from a friend who used to race a few horses, but never had much luck. She was a little thinner than she is now, but she's slowly been putting on weight. I haven't had time to really work with her because of work, but she has been lunged a couple of times at the walk and trot, but she doesnt really know what to do at the canter. But I think after she's worked with for a bit she'll do well."
