Morning sun beating down as the birds begin there morning songs, peaceful morning, no car's to be heard, only the hoofbeats of horses and the rattle of the old cart.
As a twin pair of horses make there way slowly down the dirt track, an old man sat up a dusty broken down cart the pair pulled along, another pair of horses walking along at the back of the small cart and two to each side, a small box holding something no bigger than a small dog beside the man.
As the man pulls the reins back lightly, the pair of horses coming to a stop as he moves up to unharness them.
The first of the horses Dreamcatcher, a 14.2hh Palomino Quarter Horse mare, by age she was still a youngster at rising 5 years old, unlike her working counterpart Picalo, a Quarter Horse gelding, who in his years was at the top of his game, but now at the age of 15 years old he was a quieter partner for excitable youngsters.
To the back of a cart two paint horses, Moonfox a 15hh Palomino and White mare, unbroken to ride or drive but in her future at the tender age of rising 3 she was due to start her life long training, her compainion, Dragonfly, a Black and White gelding, at two years older than his female compainion, having already started and completed his basic training and now into the more advance side of it.
To one side, Moonshine, a small Grey Quarter Horse mare, barely 13.3hh by a sensible ride non the less, to the oppisite side, Dynamite, a 13hh Appaloosa pony.
As the man tethers the two work horses to the cart, climbing back up into his seat, hand dipping into the box to rub the muzzle of a small bundle of fluff, a small shetland colt, palomino in color and barely a week ok, a rescue the man had been given after his mother had abandoned him.
