Nikita saw Jason on the steps of the house while Michael pulled the car up. Nikita looked at Michael and groaned. “Is it bad that I’d rather go back to the hotel?”

“We checked out really late, Kita,” Michael chuckled gently as he turned the car off. “And it’s our family…”

“But Jason is out there for a reason. He wasn’t supposed to stay the night so either the children were bad… which means Sabina was bad… or he is here for another reason,” Nikita conjectured and Michael swallowed. He took a moment and then sighed. “He is here for another reason.”

Nikita pushed the door opened and felt ever muscle in her body say that they were tired, but very satisfied. She pushed through those thoughts as she stood up and started down the sidewalk. “Jason…”

“I’ve been waiting for you to return…” Jason pushed up from the stairs as Michael came up alongside of Nikita. “It’s not bad news….”

Nikita arched an eyebrow with the way that Jason had trailed off. He sighed as he cleared his throat. He pulled out a paper and handed it to Nikita. “I found Reagan.”

Nikita blinked her eyes and Michael leaned over Nikita’s shoulder. “I thought that Mick was working on it.”

“Well, when Helen made it back to town…” Jason looked down to his feet. Michael tilted his head and Nikita chuckled. “Mick got a personal live-in nurse of sorts.”

“He got side-tracked a bit…” Jason admitted as he looked at the couple and rolled his shoulders back. “School is to start soon… so I helped out and she wasn’t that hard to find. But you’ll have to find a way to contact her.”

“Is she scared of you?” Michael asked and Nikita looked at Michael. “I got her out of Section… but yes… I think she is scared of me.”

Michael frowned and Jason shrugged his shoulders. “I don’t know much about Reagan… but she has been teaching classes for scholarly children… even had interviewed at that place they suggested for Sabina.”

“Where she won’t be going,” Michael inserted before Nikita could say it. Jason stood there and Nikita twisted the paper in her hands. “Is there something more?”

Jason looked around and it was clear that he was uncomfortable at the moment. But now he had both Michael and Nikita staring at him and he knew that he had to talk. “Look… I know that Reagan is your answer for Sabina… but what about Lisa?”

Nikita felt Michael’s hands squeeze her shoulders but she knew this answer. “I have to do what is right for Sabina. We can help Lisa with this…”

“You might want to talk to her first,” Jason suggested and Nikita felt Michael’s hand slide down her back as it was clear that he felt the same thing that she did right now. “Jason… what is going on?”

He rolled his eyes and groaned. “Adam hacked into a system of mine.”

“Not your primary system, right?” Nikita instantly feared and Jason chuckled. “Seriously… he hasn’t been near that stuff.”

“But?” Michael chimed up and Jason closed his eyes and then opened one to look at Michael and Nikita. “He saw a running list of things to do that I was working on… I usually am not so casual where I write it but I was updating the primary system… and I may have written something about checking with the two you about what Lisa was going to think about this.”

Nikita shook her head. She walked passed Jason and then stopped at the door. “There is more?”

“I overheard Adam asking Lisa more about… Section… and people that she knew there,” Jason admitted as he looked right at Michael. “I’m sorry… I didn’t know that he was going to do that… and I know that he has been protected from a lot… and that Lisa has been thru.”

“Stop,” Michael whispered as he shook his head back and forth. “Adam can be a handful.”

“Lisa is still here with him,” Jason commented as he looked back at Nikita. “I know that you have to do what is best for Sabina… and I agree with possibly using Reagan.”

Now it was Nikita’s turn. “But?”

Jason pressed his lips together and then looked directly at Nikita. “Talk to her first. Give her the heads up of what is going on.”

Nikita rolled her head back and groaned. “And here I was thinking that I was just going to have to worry about Sabina clinging to me all day long.”

“Oh, well, she isn’t here right now,” Jason commented and Nikita jerked. “What?”

“Walter was trying to tire her out some more… they walked to the park.”

Michael mounted the steps and looked back to Jason. “So who is here with Adam and Lisa?”

“Ah… no one that I know of,” Jason stammered as he cleared his throat. “Davenport got called in by Nat for something… and Walter was here alone…”

“So Adam and Lisa are home alone,” Michael spoke and Nikita tensed up. “And you are on the stairs because the door is locked, right?”

“Walter told them too,” Jason whispered and Nikita looked at Michael. “They better be in that living room watching a movie, Michael.”

“Calm down, Kita…” Michael whispered as he pulled his keys out for the door, although his heart was racing with the thought of Adam and Lisa home alone. He hurried to open the door and held back shouting for the two teenagers like Nikita did.

Adam better not have been stupid.
